Davis Delivers 2-0 Win
|
Clark Davis never let the 209 get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Colt .45s to a win, 2-0. The save went to Yoshifumi Tada, number 1 for him. Houston has now won 3 straight, while the 209 have lost 3 in a row.
The 209 had trouble solving Davis, who surrendered no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings.
"It feels good to get this one," Davis told the Houston Times.
