The Atlantic City Aces did just enough to sneak past the Bronx Bombers, 4-3, at The Sandcastle. Atlantic City pitcher Charlie Steele, in particular, had a standout performance. Brad Evans, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit. The win makes Atlantic City 54-62.

Jack Powers was the walk-off hero for Atlantic City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Aces center fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"Put a star next to this win," Powers said.
