Younger Fashions Shutout Against Portland
Robin Younger kept the Portland Pickles hitters off balance all game long as the Angus-Borden Purple Warriors pitcher blanked the Pickles, 3-0.

Younger gave up 4 hits, struck out 10 and walked 2. In the postgame press conference, the left-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length.

"It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it."

Currently Younger has a 8-3 won-lost record in 15 starts with a 1.53 ERA. He also has 137 strikeouts in 118 innings.
