Bennett Impressive in Kinuso Win
|
Barry Bennett never let the Hurricanes get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Blues to a win, 2-0. George Cunningham earned the save, his 7th. Puerto Rico's current losing streak is now 4 games.
Bennett allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings for the Blues. He walked 1 and struck out 6.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Bennett.
