Blues Fall to .500 After 4-3 Loss to Rainiers

The Seattle Rainiers racked up a win at Rainiers Stadium, bumping off the Kinuso Blues, 4-3. Bret Ballard, who started for Seattle, pitched effectively for his team. Dave Boswell, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 16th save. The Rainiers sit in 4th place in the Ursa Division with a record of 59-41.
Tom Haller aided the Seattle cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Kinuso manager Matt Blue. "But we decided not to take it."
