Starting pitcher Alberto Castillo pitched well enough to help the Iron City Eddies beat the Hollywood Stars, 6-3. Iron City is 7th in the Ursa Division with a record of 50-52.

Iron City used a timely hit from Fernando Pérez to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Eddies ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Castillo.
