Razor-Sharp Adams Blanks Ocean City Thursday, August 24th , 1972 Bass Lake Bass fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Seth Adams blanked the Ocean City Sailors, 6-0 at Watervliet Grounds today. Adams stopped them on 6 hits while walking 3 and striking out 6. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Bass skipper Mark Lewis said. "He was on top of his game in this one." This year Adams has compiled a 15-9 record with a 3.76 ERA in 27 starts. |
