Week's Top Performer Honored by SL2 Monday, July 31st , 1972 His lightning swing and solid bat took the Sub League 2 by storm. All week Howard Boyd of the Red Bank Clerks shocked opponents with an electrifying performance to capture the Sub League 2 Player of the Week honors. The talented right fielder sparked his team by hitting .476 with 6 home runs, 10 RBIs and 10 runs scored. In the 1972 season Boyd is hitting .304 with 34 home runs. |
