San Diego Country Estates College Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Wednesday, May 24th , 1972 Looking at the bigger picture, Ryan Walker of the San Diego Country Estates College Spearheads said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 1972 season. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1969. In total, the Spearheads have missed the playoffs 35 times in their 38-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Spearheads have only made the playoffs once. San Diego Country Estates College last won the Round 1 in 1945. |
