Harriman College Southpaw Tosses 5-0 Shutout Wednesday, May 23rd , 1973 The Harriman College Moguls rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Lake Purdy College White Hawks at Ballpark of Harriman College today. Leading the way to victory was starter Jack Clarke, who shackled the Lake Purdy College White Hawks and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Clarke said in his postgame press conference. Clarke has made 11 starts, tossed 76.1 innings, struck out 83 batters and walked 27. His record is 5-3 with a 3.89 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .275 batting average. |
