Starting pitcher Fernando Zapata held up his part of the bargain, helping the Houston Astros stymie the New York Mets, 6-2. With the win, Houston elevates its record to 12-13.

The Astros got a big hit from third baseman Butch Huskey. In the bottom of the fifth, Huskey pounded a 2-run home run to left. His 5th home run of the season put the Astros ahead, 2-0.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Zapata said after the game.
