Reds Walk It Off for 19th Win of Season
Philadelphia got a valiant performance from pitcher Mariano Rivera, but it wasn't enough to beat the Cincinnati Reds. Cincinnati won the game, 6-3. Rivera threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Cincinnati reliever Tom Niedenfuer picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Randy Myers absorbed the loss. The Reds sport a record of 19-33.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shane Mack won the game for the Reds, walloping a 3-run home run. For the game, Mack went 2-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

"What a buzz," said Mack after it was over.
