Rockies Earn 6-4 Win Against Reds
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 24-year old third baseman Jacques Landry helped the Colorado Rockies beat the Cincinnati Reds, 6-4. Colorado reliever John Gardner picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. Craig Holman was tagged with the loss. The Rockies saw their record improve to 30-44.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 14th. With one out, Landry hit a changeup from Luis Baez for a 2-run home run. The Rockies, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Big win," said Landry.
