Clark Powers Yankees to 7-2 Win
Getting a good performance from right fielder Tony Clark, the New York Yankees defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-2. Clark belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Yankees. New York pitcher Steve Kline got the win. He's now 15-7. Willis Tellez was tagged with the loss. With the victory, the Yankees upped their record to 84-46.

With New York leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Clark hit a curveball from Willis Tellez for a grand slam home run. It was his 27th home run of the season and put the Yankees ahead, 6-0.

Clark attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
