St. Louis Blanks Pittsburgh, 2-0 Tuesday, August 26th , 1997 Dave Otto kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the St. Louis Cardinals were all smiles after winning 2-0 against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium II today. The left-handed Otto gave up no runs in his start, permitted 4 hits and had 2 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Otto said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
