Player of the Week: Châteauguay's Lamb Monday, September 1st , 1997 Mike Lamb swung a blistering bat last week for Châteauguay, rapping out 12 hits in 18 at-bats against T-Bones opponents to propel himself to the Sub League 2 Player of the Week Award. Whenever the third baseman hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 23-year-old racked up a .667 batting average with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Lamb has hit at a .375 clip and produced 18 runs batted in, 3 home runs and 31 runs. |
