Halladay Propels Nashville to 4-1 Win
|
The Nashville Stars picked up a win at Miller Park, knocking off the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-1. Starting pitcher Roy Halladay was a big reason why. Bo McLaughlin sewed up the save, his 5th. The first-place Stars have won 6 straight.
Halladay imposed his will on the Brewers, scattering 5 hits over 8.2 innings while striking out 9. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-0.
"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Mike Allegretti.
