The Chicago White Sox picked up a win at Guaranteed Rate Field, taking down the Los Angeles Angels, 5-3. Starting pitcher Oil Can Boyd was a big reason why. Boyd went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 8-12. Brad A. Mills, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 34th save.
