Hansen Helps Chicago Outscore Boston
Chicago shortstop Ron Hansen had a 6-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Boston Red Sox, 13-10. Hunter Wood came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-3. The White Sox now own a record of 79-76.

The outcome turned when Ron Hansen came to bat in the top of the ninth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Chicago shortstop hit a 3-run home run. It gave his team the lead and helped them secure the win.

Boston manager Charles Parietti said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score in double digits, you expect to win the game."
