Kelley Hits Two Dingers, Guardians Win, 7-4
The Cleveland Guardians topped the Minnesota Twins by a score of 7-4. Leading the way was designated hitter Joe Kelley. Kelley hit 2 home runs for the Guardians. Picking up the win was Johnny Podres. He went 8 innings, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits. The left--hander struck out 8 and walked 2. Earning the save was Jim Owens. He's now cashed in 34 of 38 save opportunities.
