Behind a fine performance from Luis Ochoa, the Montreal Expos knocked off the Boston Red Sox, 5-4. Ochoa slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Expos. Juan Campos collected save number 30. The Expos, at 57-79, have now won 4 straight.

Ochoa had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-1 screwball from Heinie Berger, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Expos a 5-4 lead. It was the 35th home run of the year for Ochoa.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Ochoa, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
