Raucous Oriole Park at Camden Yards Crowd Propels Orioles to 12-4 Victory; Series Tied at 3
The Baltimore Orioles and the Texas Rangers will take the Divisional Round to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Orioles beat the Rangers 12-4 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Baltimore shortstop Jackson Holliday went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

Rafael Palmeiro, who led the AL in RBI with 142 last year, chipped in for Baltimore with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the second. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Palmeiro said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."
