Phillies Lose Again, 10-6, to Braves
|
The 10-6 Atlanta win over Philadelphia was due largely to Johnny Hodapp. The Braves third baseman went 3 for 5 with 3 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Walker Buehler, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-0. He pitched 7.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Philadelphia now has a record of 8-19.
In the first inning, Hodapp had a 2-run double for Atlanta. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Braves on top, 4-0.
"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Judah Kunstler. "But it's got to translate into wins."
