The St. Louis Cardinals picked up a win at Busch Stadium, knocking off the Colorado Rockies, 5-3. Starting pitcher Michael Wacha was a big reason why. The save went to Charlie Geggus, his 2nd this season. St. Louis is now 12-15.

John Valentin hit a 2-run double off Ron Taylor in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Cardinals in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, Valentin had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Valentin.
