Foresters Johnson Smacks 5 Hits
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Tyler Johnson, it came around today.

The 19-year-old shortstop scattered hits all over Globe Life Park in Arlington to pace the Philadelphia College Foresters to a 10-4 victory over the New York College Rangers.

New York College skipper told reporters in the press room that "Johnson deserves a hat-tip."

"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Johnson hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."

Tyler Johnson singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI triple in the 10th and hit a two-run single in the 11th.

This season in 38 games, Johnson has hit at a .364 clip with 56 hits, 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and 32 runs scored.
