Brett Comito put on a hitting clinic as the Binghamton Rumble Ponies dumped the Yonkers Alleycats, 12-2, at Gryphons Stadium.

The Binghamton third baseman made Yonkers defenders earn their pay, lashing Yonkers pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Comito said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Brett Comito singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Carlos Sanchez in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Panas Vukashev in the 7th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
