|
The Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 3-1, in 10 innings. Atlanta pitcher and Lawrence, Massachusetts, native Trejean Cox led the way. At 21-28, Atlanta is in 4th place in the NL East Division.
Atlanta used the timely hitting of A.J. Robbins to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Braves on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
In postgame comments, Robbins said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
