WL Honors Robinson, #1 Batter in June Monday, July 1st , 1996 When Pat Robinson stepped up to the plate in June he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the West League Batter of the Month award. The young Rome second baseman posted a .408 batting average with 10 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 26 runs. Robinson also worked pitchers for 8 walks to post a .458 on-base percentage. For the season, Robinson is currently batting .364 with 12 home runs and 34 RBIs. In 35 games he has reached base at a .414 rate and scored 30 runs to date. |
