Diaz Belts 5 Hits Saturday, September 23rd , 1995 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Rico Diaz today. Diaz went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Panama City pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Vandals Stadium, he had a 5-for-7 line and a day he will long remember. And the Fort-de-France Cavaliers had a 12-9 victory over the Vandals. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.
