Destroyers Stick Golden Freaks with 13-5 Loss
A 4-RBI performance from the 18-year old catcher Alfredo Estrada helped the Birmingham Destroyers beat the Ann Arbor Golden Freaks, 13-5. The winner in relief was Kwan-uk So. He is now 4-1. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. The win elevated the Destroyers to 24-17.

Estrada had a timely hit for Birmingham in the bottom of the seventh. With Ann Arbor trailing 5-4, he turned a full count fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season, making it 6-5, Birmingham.

"I can only hope we've hit rock bottom," lamented losing manager Dave Wilcox in postgame remarks.
