Kaijus Lose Again, 4-3, to Islanders
Hilton Head picked up a win at Grizzlies Ballpark, toppling the Tokyo Kaijus, 4-3. Pitcher Jorge Alejándrez was one of the reasons the Islanders triumphed. Alejándrez picked up the win for Hilton Head, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Rusty Snider.

The Islanders got a big hit from designated hitter Tim Cardenas. In the bottom of the fifth, Cardenas pounded a 2-run double to center. His 2nd double of the season put the Islanders ahead, 4-1.

"Both teams played hard," said Hilton Head manager John Lewis.

The losing streak has reached 9 games for the Kaijus. Manager Brandon Willis was visibly upset after the game, hurling a string of profanities en route to the clubhouse.
