Gerdt, Drunkards Get Tidy 3-1 Win Over Springfield
In a low-scoring affair between the Pullman Drunkards and the Springfield Isotopes, pitcher Bogdashha Gerdt was the difference between victory and defeat. The Pullman right-hander earned accolades in the 3-1 Drunkards win. Richie MacElliott got credit for the save for Pullman. It was his 6th of the year. The win puts Pullman at 10-15.

Gerdt, the Pullman right-hander, went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit. He collected 5 strikeouts.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Pullman skipper Bryan Simmons.
