The Sydney Fightin' Ostriches topped the Lower Allen Snappers, 4-2, in Winter League Beta action at Ballpark of Hapeville. The standout performance belonged to Sydney pitcher and South Huntington, New York, native Chris Cantrell. Earning his 4th save of the year was Sean Lyons. Sydney is now 6-1.

Theodore Miller had a big 2-run home run for the Fightin' Ostriches in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Sydney leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Bill Rivas and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fightin' Ostriches ahead, 4-0.

"Chris made his pitches," said Sydney manager Tae-hyeon Park.
