The AS Roma picked up a win at Madrid Grounds, taking down the Atletico Madrid, 5-3. Starting pitcher Ken Butler was a big reason why. Joe Bussey converted his 3rd save in 6 tries. AS is in 4th place in the Group A with a record of 70-65.

AS used the timely hitting of Edgar Sandoval to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Roma ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Glad to get this win," said Butler. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
