In a low-scoring tilt between the Atlanta Pterodactyls and the Thornton Berserks, Mike Carter was the difference-maker. The Atlanta right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Atlanta took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Steven Short hit a clutch solo home run to bring Pterodactyls fans to their feet.
