Mississauga Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Mississauga got a strong outing from Leonard Myers as the Foxes defeated the Portland Lumberjax, 3-2, at Ballpark of Mississauga. Tim Saunders earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-3. The 9th-place Foxes improved to 29-32.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Mississauga trailing 2-0, Carlos Villanueva jumped on a 1-1 fastball from Will Ashley for a 3-run home run, sending the Foxes to a walk-off win.

"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Myers. "And vice-versa."
