Majesty Need Extra Frames to Get Past Commanders
With second baseman Krisna Kathirithamby leading the charge, the Modesto Majesty defeated the Rushmore Commanders, 4-2, at Edison Field. Kathirithamby, who is rated as the 43rd best prospect by BNN, went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. Micheal O'Neill snagged the win in relief. In 4.2 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits. He's now 3-4 on the season. With the win, Modesto pushed its record to 67-55.

Modesto used the clutch hitting of Scott Cole to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Majesty ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"Winning is not something we take for granted," Kathirithamby said.
