Barr Hurls Jaspers to Shutout Victory
In a remarkable performance, Shreveport Jaspers starter Marc Barr beat the Annapolis Royal Canonballers 9-0 in an impressive 2-hit shutout.

"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."

The Jaspers hurler finished with 13 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.

"It was a rough one for my guys," Annapolis manager Rodney Ivany said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."

So far this year Barr has no saves in 6 relief appearances with a 5-5 record and 2.97 ERA.
