The Blaine Broncos eked out a 3-2 win versus the Atlanta Helldogs at Blaine Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Paul Underwood. He was terrific. Orsino Amoruso earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 5-1. The first-place Broncos are 72-35.

With the game on the line, Adrián Martínez came to bat in the bottom of the 12th. And the Blaine right fielder came through, cracking a run-scoring single off John Lennon, the Atlanta pitcher.

"I'm glad this one's going in the books as a 'W'," Underwood said.
