Cantagalli Delivers 2-1 Win
|
In a tight affair between the Savannah Stampede and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, pitcher Roger Cantagalli was in the zone. The Savannah right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. Getting the save was Cullen Stroud, his 40th. The 11th-place Stampede have a record of 62-75.
The Timber Rattlers had little chance against Cantagalli, who overpowered Wisconsin hitters and struck out 10.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Savannah manager Fred Wilson.
