Extra frames were needed to settle this game between the Diamond City Glasscutters and Halfway Thugs.

The Diamond City Glasscutters picked up a win at Ballpark of Halfway, knocking off the Halfway Thugs, 6-4. Starting pitcher Randall Cummings was a big reason why. Earning his 3rd save of the year was William Lee.

Bryan Wood drove in one run for Diamond City. The 26-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Kurt González. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"I got in a good groove," said Cummings. "I was getting some swings and misses."

The Glasscutters, now 3-1, have been playing some good baseball.
