The Hialeah Sick Monkeys topped the Burnaby Bears, 5-2, in Mafia League action at Burnaby Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hialeah left fielder Gabriel Cardenas. Enrique Montaño earned the save for Hialeah, his 8th of the year. Hialeah is now 25-26, Burnaby 24-27.

Hialeah took the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 3rd, Jason Gray stroked a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Sick Monkeys.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Gray said.
