Browns Top Tuggers, 2-1, Behind Finn
|
The Surrey Browns got a stellar performance from pitcher Dolph Finn, who handcuffed the Tacoma offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Ballpark of Thompson's Station. The save was credited to Matt Richardson, his 4th. The Tuggers, now 8-15, continue their inauspicious start.
Finn scattered 3 hits over 7 innings for the Browns. With the win, Finn goes to 2-1 on the year with 27 strikeouts.
"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Finn told the Surrey Observer. "But we take nothing for granted."
