Port Townsend got a strong outing from Dave Barker as the Seamen defeated the New Orleans Sabercats, 5-2, at Seamen on the Grounds. Port Townsend reliever Diego Alfonso was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Column Jumbo. The win leaves Port Townsend with a record of 13-15.

Port Townsend took a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With two out, pinch hitter Tomás Torres hit a 3-run home run that aroused the crowd.
