Best on a Tear, Hits for Cycle
The Boston HS Cavalry wasted a big day at the plate by center fielder Chris Best today in a 13-11 loss to the Albuquerque HS Railroaders. Best hit for the cycle, stroking 4 hits off the Albuquerque HS pitching staff in a losing effort.

"I actually didn't feel particularly great out there today," Best said in the clubhouse following the loss. "It was kind of random chance that the balls found some gaps, and here we are."

For the day, he finished 4-for-6, had 1 RBI and scored 4 runs.

Chris Best singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, tripled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Lonnie Rice in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.

So far this season Best has put up a .282 batting average with 22 hits, 3 home runs and 13 RBIs.
