Seattle HS Gets 13-Inning, 5-4 Win
The Seattle HS Monkeys did just enough to secure a victory over the Austin HS River Sharks, 5-4, at Ballpark of Seattle HS. Nobody did more than pitcher Bill Wells. Seattle HS is now 15-16, Austin HS 20-11.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Seattle HS shortstop Bernie Sherman, facing Jeffrey Thomas, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Monkeys the 5-4 win.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Wells said.
