Eagles Drop 4-2 Decision to Retrievers
The UMBC Retrievers tallied a win at Fenway Park, throttling the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, 4-2. Starting pitcher Josh Gray was a big reason for his team's success. Harvey O'Sullivan earned the save for UMBC. The Eagles, 4-6, continue their sluggish start to the 2109 campaign.

Rusty White drove in 2 runs for UMBC. The 21-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Rob Schultz. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," White told the UMBC Citizen.
