Pete Martínez was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Albany and Winthrop. The Great Danes right-hander helped his team beat the Eagles, 2-1. Michael Harris got credit for the save for Albany. It was his 4th of the year. Albany is now 15-11.

Albany third baseman Jessie Jensen gave his club a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third inning. With the bases empty and the Great Danes trailing 1-0, Jensen hit a solo home run.

"The object of the game is to score more runs than they do," said Jensen. "Mission accomplished."
