The Air Force Falcons beat the Navy Midshipmen, 6-1, at Oxnard College Grounds. Starting pitcher Ken Robinson was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Robinson picked up the win for Air Force, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Picking up the save was Pablo Cruz, his 2nd.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Falcons had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the top of the fifth, when designated hitter Mike Heath hit a run-scoring double. The double came off Spike Moran and made the score 3-1, Falcons.
