The Albany Great Danes and Maine Black Bears played an exciting game.

The Maine Black Bears got a superb performance from pitcher Josh Lowe, but the Albany Great Danes still won the game, 4-3. Lowe threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The second-place Great Danes raised their record to 21-24.

Kevin O'Neil had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth. The Albany left fielder came through with a run-scoring single to put Albany in front, 4-3.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," O'Neil said after the game.
